They’re angry and I love it.
Is Ghost gettin at T.I.? That’d be a fun one.
Guess what this song’s about.
If you ever wondered if/how Dame Dash would/could ever come back and make himself relevant again, well look no further than the past year.
First bringing together Roots Rock champions the Black Keys with some of N.Y.’s all-time greatest spitters (Mos Def, Q-Tip, Pharoahe Monch, Billy Danze, RZA, Raekwon, etc.) to bring you a 21st century version of Heavy Rhyme Experience (know the ledge), BlakRoc.
And if that wasn’t enough, now with the resurrection Mr. Luchini himself, Ski Beatz and putting him alongside some of Hip-Hop’s most (under) appreciated greats, they bring you 24 Hour Karate School (a.k.a. BluRoc)
We’ve already dropped one goodie from the project and now here go 2 more. Pure beastage.
Murs always says good things.
Listen to more Murs.
I love reunions, especially when they involve DJ Quik and Suga Free.
It’s been a heavy minute since these 2 did something together and I’m crazy excited to hear it. Quik gets the hand to forehead treatment every time he comes out. Off his upcoming Book of David, NEW QUIK!
Like I said before, I wasn’t really checking for this record when it was originally announced, however, slowly but surely, the tracks started to leak and I quickly regained my Freeway enthusiasm. Now with the record out and gettin its much deserved love, here go the 2 iTunes bonus tracks.
Everything up to this point has been extremely on-point and this new re-up of Wu-life (Ghostdeini, OB4CL2, Blackout!2) has certainly been welcome. Now with the first official single and a gangload of excellent art direction, this might just make moves!
That being said, not sure why they decided to go with this — not hating but I would’ve gone with one of the other joints — but either way, I still appreciate.
This time, not only did he bring along the homie Kurupt but some of that new West too with Nipsey Hussle. This ish is smoothed out.
West West Y’all.
This is the 3rd joint I’ve heard off Red‘s upcoming Reggie and I gotta say, 2 out of the 3 joints have been super hype, this one included.
With new Red, Luda and that Wu-Tang Massacre ish, I’m feelin good about 2010.
