More butts than ashtrays…

I was interning/working at BMG Music Canada, the Canadian parent label for Bad Boy Records, when Biggie died. We were in the process of setting up his 2nd album ‘Life After Death’. We had an advance of the album which we studied, we had swag all over the office and we were setting up listening parties and hoping we could get Biggie up to Toronto to perform for a release party. I was getting excited because i wanted to interview Biggie for the magazine I was writing for at the time. We got news through a fax from Bad Boy Records in New York that Biggie had died. My boss at the time was affected because he had met Biggie and Puff in New York, hung out with them and had the chance to see just how charismatic Biggie was in person.

Anyways, miss or dont miss him, Biggie had a talent to spit rhymes.
