In case you didnt know, im putting the whole city on alert. Its OFFICIALLY HUSTLE SEASON! I been talking to people and everyone is on some serious grind shit right now. I know people working on clothing, music, websites, flyers, parties, retail ventures, tours. If this keeps up and everyone stays on their grizzly it should be a good spring/summer season.

A word that has many meanings, two of them being: eurphoric or intoxicated on drugs. ‘High’ is the word I often hear club owners and managers in Taipei use to describe how the people should be feeling.
‘Make the people feel high’.
‘Well….give them some weed n-word!’ is often my response.
But I digress, tomorrow (Thursday, January 29) night the HHHT crew will be rocking alongside one of the greats in the party scene, Tittsworth. Hit that link to get to all his pages, myspace, facebook, twitter, press, mixes and naked pics.
Tittsworth mixes fast and plays hard. He will definitely keep yo ass shaking, all night long. The last time he was here in Taipei, he played Roxy Vibe. Yes that Vibe, and the night was teetering on madness the entire time he was on the decks. Its one of the only nights where i’ve seen everyone inside dancing. Musically his sets run from booty to electro, to 80’s, to floor stomping b-more, hip hop, rock and beyond. You will smile. You will dance. You will want more.
He’s just finished an 8 city tour of Australia and Taipei is the first stop on the asian leg of this tour which will see him also stopping in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bangkok and Singapore.

7 days til Christmas!!
I just touched down in the great tundra called Toronto. I havent seen snow in about 4 years. It seems like everyone back here is in the Christmas Spirit. All the houses are decorated with lights, there’s snow every where and much more on the way. Its also cold as (enter expletive here).
In an effort to get you into the spirit of the season, I’m going to bless you guys with 2 great mixes that we’re put together by myself and my homey Dash aka That Guy.

First off. Thank You. Thank you all for checking back with the blog daily, for spreading the word to all your friends and for helping us kick off the first High Heels and Hi Tops with a bang. There nothing I like more than a packed party with a good vibe of everybody enjoying themselves. And on Saturday we definitely had that. The ladies definitely represented in some fine footwear, and the fellas came out and repped too.

After shouting out slave masters during an interview with BET journalist Touré, Soulja Boy tries to explain his statement, sayin the comment was “blown out of proportion.”
He cited the mock interview the journalist did with Bow Wow and Omarion for the response given.
“Man basically what happened that day, I was at BET filming the last episode of Rap City and then the Touré dude asked me if I wanted to do an interview with him and I said no. I had seen the interview with Bow Wow and Omarion and he was like roasting them or whatever and it turned out to be bad. I was like, I’m straight, I don’t want to do an interview with you. Then, my management was like if he’s good we can do an interview with him…for promotion or whatever…I was just joking. Most of the questions he was asking me wasn’t making no sense. Like, he was asking me how I wanted to die and asking me all these questions so I thought he was joking with me. I didn’t really take it seriously. Basically it was sarcasm that got blown out of proportion.”
The controversial comment came when Touré asked Soulja Boy which historical figure he hated most. The rapper was informed that other artists named Hitler and Osama bin Laden, he chimed in, saying, “Oh wait! Hold up! Shout out to the slave masters! Without them we’d still be in Africa. We wouldn’t be here to get this ice and tattoos.”
